Pure comfort. I crossed the Alps with a hot coffee and my laptop open — arrived in Milan rested, not wrecked like after a flight.

Zero stress. One ticket, connections that just lined up, and none of the endless security lines. I sat down and simply enjoyed it.

The line follows the river through terraced vineyards. One of the most beautiful train rides I've ever taken, and barely any tourists.
