The Euromed heads southwest along the Mediterranean corridor, passing through Tarragona — with views of the sea and the ancient Roman aqueduct visible from the train — continuing south through the orange-grove plains of Castellón, before arriving at València Joaquín Sorolla, Valencia's central high-speed station.

Journey time and schedule

The fastest Renfe Euromed services take approximately 3 hours. The slower Intercity trains take 3h 30m to 4 hours but are often cheaper. With 8 to 12 daily departures spread from early morning to evening, there are plenty of options for any schedule.

Operators and tickets

All trains on this route are operated by Renfe, Spain's national railway. The Euromed is the premium high-speed option; the Intercity is slower but significantly cheaper. Renfe fares are dynamic, so the same journey can vary widely depending on when you book.
