Privacy Policy

WoW Train ("the App") is developed by GLOSX (Sebastian Jasinsky). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

1. Location Data

The App uses your GPS location to detect your nearest train station and trigger geofencing alerts. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

2. Tickets & Boarding Passes

QR tickets stored in the App are saved locally on your device using the operating system's encrypted secure storage (Expo SecureStore). We do not have access to your tickets and they are never uploaded to any server.

3. Payments

Ticket purchases are handled entirely by Trainline Ltd as Merchant of Record, via an in-app WebView. WoW Train never receives, processes, or stores any payment card data.

4. Train Schedule Data

GTFS timetable databases are bundled with the App and stored locally on your device. Real-time departure data is fetched directly from official public railway APIs (SNCF, DB, NS, etc.) and is not logged or stored by us.

5. Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising trackers. No behavioral data is collected or shared with third parties.

6. Affiliate Links

Some booking links use affiliate programs (Trainline via Partnerize/Impact). Clicking these links may set cookies on the Trainline website, subject to their own privacy policy. WoW Train does not receive any personal data from this process.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. It contains no features directed at children.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
