Frequently asked questions

Why aren't real-time departures showing?

Real-time data requires an internet connection. Make sure you have mobile data or Wi-Fi enabled. Some countries (e.g. Norway, USA) show scheduled times only as their APIs don't provide live data yet.

The app isn't detecting my nearest station

Go to your device Settings → Privacy → Location Services → WoW Train, and make sure location access is set to "While Using" or "Always". Then restart the app.

How do I store a ticket in the app?

After booking through the in-app Trainline WebView, your QR ticket will be saved automatically. You can also add tickets manually from the Tickets screen using the "+" button.

Which countries are supported?

Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Norway, and the USA (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago). More countries are in progress.

Does the app work offline?

Yes — full GTFS timetable data is stored on your device, so scheduled departures are available offline. Real-time delay info requires internet.

How do I delete my data?

WoW Train doesn't store any personal data on external servers. All app data (tickets, favorites, settings) lives only on your device. To delete everything, uninstall the app.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

Email us at glosx@outlook.com with a description of what happened, your device model, and OS version. Screenshots are always helpful.
